General News

On June 13, 2016, 18 librarians from Novateca network, besides the e-Ambassadors title received the accreditation certificate, which empowers them to train citizens, other librarians, local public authority representatives and business members on the use of public electronic services.

18 librarians have been trained during two months, and subsequently they carried out over 60 information sessions with over 550 participants.

Now, libraries that activate the e-Ambassador became a single counter for request of e-Services, where each citizen can appeal to obtain support or answers to questions on accessing and requiring public services.

Within awarding session, e-Ambassadors shared their impressions, challenges and activity plan for the next period.

”We want the library to become the number 1 point in community in accessing information and the librarian – the number 1 partner in reforming process of public services,” the director executive of Electronic Governance Centre, Iurie Turcanu declared.

”You are those who bring the transformation in Moldova and your contribution is significant, including for the Government”, Evan Tracz, Novateca director concluded.

The e-Ambassadors will continue to train various groups of beneficiaries about e-Services: libraries’ visitors, other librarians and actors of civil society etc.
