EGA takes part in digital education projects
Vlad Manoil, Deputy Director of the Electronic Government Agency (EGA) and Igor Bercu, EGA Project Manager, participated in the Autumn FinEdu Camp 2021, which takes place between 25 and 29 October 2021. The event is dedicated to young people aged 15-19, and is mainly aimed at familiarizing young people with the basic concepts of public, corporate and personal finance.
During the information sessions, Vlad Manoil spoke about digital platforms and their active contribution to the development of non-cash economic skills, as well as how financial inclusion takes place from the perspective of young people. Also, the EGA Deputy Director mentioned the opportunities offered by the IT solutions developed in Moldova and their role in the development of finances.
In the panel dedicated to electronic financial services offered by the Government to citizens, Igor Bercu informed the young people about the services and platforms developed by the e-Governance Agency, the institution's priorities and the major IT products that complement and facilitate the financial activity of citizens.
The online autumn camp FinEdu Camp 2021 is organized by the FINEDU Public Association, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research and the TAXACO Group. During four days, the young people had the opportunity to get acquainted with financial concepts through the following educational activities: information sessions, practical and applied activities, meetings with representatives in the financial sector.
