Public consultations – MDelivery

A new government service, developed by e-Governance Agency (EGA), will soon be launched and made available to citizens after it is publicly consulted and approved by the Government.
The draft decision on the approval of the Concept of the Government’s Delivery Service MDelivery was proposed, today, for public consultation by EGA and the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova.
The goal of the Project is to establish a unified mechanism for the physical delivery of the results of public service provision by state institutions. Therefore, the MDelivery Service will be developed to create this unique platform, by connecting the 3 subjects: the public service provider, as sender, the beneficiary of the public service, as the recipient of the delivery, and the postal service provider. This platform will reduce costs for all three parties involved, namely: signing a single contract for both senders and postal service providers on access to the MDelivery service; managing all deliveries of public service results through a single platform; ensuring secure access for individuals and legal entities to delivery services.
The MDelivery service will only focus on sending non-hazardous, non-perishable postal items of the ordinary size and weight. Such a delivery service is required in the context of the complex modernization of public services, stressed by the current epidemiological situation. Thus, MDelivery will allow avoiding congestion at the counters, the physical contact between people will be reduced to a minimum, the personal expenses incurred by beneficiaries in relation to the required visit to the public service offices will be minimized and the inconveniences related to picking up documents during working day excluded.
By launching this Service, the e-Governance Agency will provide an efficient, reliable and modern technological solution to public authorities and institutions to be used as a single mechanism for the physical delivery of the results of public services to individuals and legal entities.
