Electronic services – alternative solutions for every citizen

The information and digital literacy campaign launched by the e-Governance Agency in June was synchronized today with an event organized by the My Community program and the network of e-ambassadors, with a common goal - to train local public administration officials, and library staff in various localities and help them use the electronic services and subsequently provide the necessary support for the citizens.
Thus, a group of about 40 officials, including mayors, deputy mayors, secretaries of local councils, specialists, librarians, as well as novice users of e-services in Pelinia, Singereii Noi, Varvareuca, Dumbravita, Inesti, Verejeni, Larga, Donduseni and Soroca were trained by experts within the "E-services for citizens" webinar.
The e-Governance Agency, represented by the Project Manager Tatiana Sincovschi, trained the participants on the use of public electronic services MPay, MCabinet, CUPS, as well as the e-Learning educational platform.
In her presentation, the expert referred to the payment methods for services provided by the authorities through the MPay platform - Government e-Payment Service. The webinar participants were provided with practical demonstrations on how different types of services related to life scenarios such as marriage, birth, building a house can be used or how documents required for starting/closing a business can be requested and paid for through the Government e-Services Portal. All these services can be obtained remotely, using an electronic device and an internet connection, and the mission of the officials of local public administration authorities is to inform the local residence about the digital alternative of connecting with the state institutions. The access to and use of electronic government platforms is a much faster, more transparent and convenient way to obtain services from public authorities.
The agenda also included other topics such as: accessing e-services: practical exercises; payment for government services, documentation services (criminal record) through the digital platform MPay, as well as the presentation of digital platforms for citizens: WordPress Pages, Google Drive Suite, CISC software.
These trainings are held on an ongoing basis and are designed to continuously inform the representatives of public authorities about any news, launches, new functionalities of digital platforms and services that are permanently improving to facilitate the citizen's relationship with the state, to enhance the efficiency of the act of governance and bring it closer to people. The mission of service providers is to inform citizens, to provide them with the necessary support and assistance, as well as make available the equipment and devices that users need to access electronic services.
Today's webinar is organized by the My Community Program, in partnership with the e-Governance Agency and the Novateca program, and aims at encouraging citizens to use e-services, as well as develop skills to access digital services by using available online platforms.
