E-TRANSFORMATION COORDINATORS DEFINE THE FIRST ELECTRONIC SERVICES

Selection of digitized public services, inventory of ICT systems in the public sector and development of ICT capacity were the central themes of the meeting with e-Transformation coordinators.
The EGC representatives presented the key priorities and methodology of public data (open data) publication.
Within two months, the e-Transformation Coordination Council will submit to the EGC a plan for selecting public services to be digitized. Also, it will examine the level of access to information technology in public institutions and the procurement of software.
The meetings of e-Transformation Coordinators Council will be held monthly, every fourth Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be held on July 28, 2011.
The e-Transformation Council was established to coordinate all processes necessary for e-Transformation of the public sector.
EGC coordinates and directs the activity of the Council, provides training programs and exchange of experience necessary for the building and strengthening of the capacity of the coordinators for the implementation of e-Transformation strategy of the public sector and e-government.
