General News

The e-Civil Status platform, offering citizens the possibility to apply for civil status certificates and certificates regarding the unchange of the name and/or surname using the multi-media counters, was completed with three new services: multilingual extracts from the birth record, marriage record and death record.

While prior to this new service, citizens had to go to the SSC offices in order to file an application for the documents mentioned above, they now have the possibility to submit an application through any QIWI terminal across the country, which will display the logo of the Civil Status Service.

The price for obtaining the documents remains the same, with an additional charge of 10 lei, representing a commission fee for the terminal (250 lei for 5 days, 150 lei for 15 days, and 50 lei for 30 days, within 1 hour and 24 hours the documents’ extracts request will be possible only at the physical submission of the application).

The e-Civil Status service was launched with the purpose to provide high quality, fast, accessible, transparent and efficient public services.
