The e-Government Center team met today, January 31, 2018 the World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine, Satu Kahkonen and the Director of Strategy and Operations in the Europe and Central Asia Region of the World Bank, Mariam Sherman. 

The discussion was focused on the Governance e-Transformation Project results and further steps to be taken in the Modernization of Governmental Services Project. A particular attention was paid to the MCloud and the MConnect Platforms as the foundation for the public services modernization reform.

In this regard, the officials visited the Data Center of the MCloud Platform, where the representatives of the e-Government Center spoke about the technical possibilities of the platform, highlighting the importance of the digital infrastructure to ensure the security and functionality of the new modernized public services.

At the same time, the World Bank representatives were interested in the actions planned in the Modernization of Governmental Services Project. Actions based on the continuity of e-Transformation of the quality and access to public services, started in 2010 and implemented with the World Bank support.

MCloud platform contributes to reduce Government costs on IT service consumption and strengthen data centers in a joint management manner.
