Recent survey: citizens have a positive perception and support the Government e-Transformation

The results of the „Public Perception, Assimilation and Support of the Moldovan Government's e-Transformation” survey showed an increasing number of citizens understanding the importance of the Moldovan Government e-Transformation. Thus, the respondents estimated their support of the e-Government implementation to 4.6 points on a range of 1 to 6.
Mention should be made that citizens’ level of trust in the online public services increased to 67% of the respondents.
Among the main advantages of the online public services the respondents mentioned: saved time (15% of the respondents), fastness (11%), easiness (6%), population saving money (6%), remote access (5%).
67% of the participants in the survey also claimed to be willing and interested in using online public services from their computers, and 52% - from their mobile phones.
The survey was ordered by the e-Government Centre and carried out by CBS-AXA during November-December 2014 and included both rural and urban localities from the entire country. The survey was carried out on a representative sample of 3005 people, with the margin of error of ± 1.8%
