Public consultations on the „e-Government Digital Signature (MSign) Service”

February 5, 2014. For the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Strategic Program for Technological Modernization of Governance (e-Transformation) approved by the Government Decision No. 710 as of September 20, 2011, the Center for Electronic Governance (CEG) has submitted for endorsement and public consultation the Government Decision Draft ”On the e-Government Digital Signature (MSign) Service”.
The „ e-Government Digital Signature (MSign) Service” is an integrating, secured and flexible mechanism for the application and verification of the digital signature authenticity by the users.
The project seeks to set up the e-Government Digital Signature (MSign) Service as a component part of the Government common technological platform and approve the Regulation on this service functioning and managing manner as well as determine the rules applicable to all subjects using the MSign service, that will help facilitate communication between users (individuals), on the one hand, and the public and private service providers, on the other hand.
The project Regulation aims at empowering public government authorities and institutions to ensure the MSign service integration into the electronic public services and the associated informational systems, etc.
