The Government launches the automated informational system "State Registry of Public Procurements" (SIA RSAP). The Platform represents the first stage in the deployment of the public procurement digitalization process. The new system transposes public procurements into an efficient, transparent and competitive mechanism.

"The launch of the automated informational system "State Registry of Public Procurements" comes to increase transparency, effectiveness and credibility of the public procurement process in the Republic of Moldova. The digitalization of procurements contributes to the creation of a competitive business environment and to increasing clarity of how public money are spent", has declared the Prime Minister Vlad Filat.

With the help of the "State Registry of Public Procurements" the procurement process goes from paper-based to electronic format. In the future, with the development of the system, citizens will be able to follow online the lifecycle of all public procurements taking place in the Republic of Moldova.

The „State Registry of Public Procurements” offers numerous benefits to tender participants:

•    The bidders can control the procurement process

•    An increased competition and trust in the public procurement process is ensured

•    Interaction with contracting authorities is simplified

•    No need to have multiple trips to contracting authorities or the Public Procurement Agency offices

•    Access to updated information is done when necessary

•    Error possibility is reduced

•    Ensures a quick generation of statistical analyses

•    Projects are carried on in a fair way

•    Direct interaction with representatives of contracting authorities is reduced to minimum.

Independent experts assert that transparency in the area of procurements is a certain solution to prevent corruption situations.
