17 December 2013. Methodological norms for the reuse of public sector information have been discussed with the central public authorities at a roundtable organized by the e-Government Center (EGC), in partnership with the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications (MITC).
At this meeting, open data coordinators and e-Transformation coordinators from the ministries have been informed about the key aspects of the methodological norms for the reuse of public sector information, such as data publishing formats, conditions for the access and reuse of information, list of information for reuse, process of requesting public information for reuse, paid public information and costing methods.
Implementation of methodological norms for the reuse of public sector information will lead to expansion of public data sets available on the portal www.date.gov.md and will increase the awareness of public institutions about their responsibility for the access and reuse of public information.
