A new application deadline for the Competition Innovations in Governance 2012

E-Government Centre has extended to October 31, 2012 the application period for the Competition Innovations in Governance 2012. Launched this year, in May, the contest is meant for the Moldovan administration’s innovators: central public authorities (including ministries, agencies, subordinate authorities), local public authorities, civil servants or short-term hired consultants within APC/APL.
Through this contest, E-Government Center along with its partners, seeks to identify and reward those institutions or officials who used modern technologies to support the efficiency of their institution’s activity: improved the provided public services, claimed the prevention of corruption or have led to increasing transparency in the institution. The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury whose members you can see on http://inovatii.gov.md/juriu/.
The innovating central and local authorities will be presented at the Innovation Festivity scheduled for December this year. The winning projects will be rewarded with prizes consisting of products or services that support innovation, such as developing websites, internet connections, computers, mobile devices, tablets, software licenses etc.
To enter the competition, participants will complete a dossier of participation in order to describe the successful use of an innovative software application that is already available on web, on computer or on mobile devices.
