The main advantages of the electronic payments are the speed and usability all the parties involved in the transaction enjoy.

The increase in the use of the governmental electronic payments Mpay system will confirm this.

At the end of August, more than 320 thousand transactions were processed by means of Mpay. At the same time, a significant increase in the average monthly number of MPay users was registered.

Thus, if during September 2013 – May 2014, the service was used by an average of 17 thousand people, during June-August 2014 the figure tripled, reaching 60 thousand users.

By MPay people can make payments using: bank cards, payment terminals, e-banking systems and cash payments. In case of cash payments, citizens may go to the pay offices of the connected banks or the Post Office of Moldova. Making payment by MPay is a couple of minutes activity that does not depend on the public institutions’ working hours.
