November 26, 27, 2013, Chisinau. The Center for Electronic Governance, in partnership with e- Governance Academy in Estonia, organized two workshops dedicated to cyber security - the Workshop for developing Moldova’s Roadmap for cyber security and the Workshop for the elaboration of the minimum requests plan for cyber security. Moldovan specialists were trained in cyber security by international experts like Raul Rikk - expert in cyber security planning in Estonia, Aare Reintam - Manager İSKEArea, Estonia, Hannes Astok - expert in e- Governance at the e-Governance Academy in Estonia and Arvo Ott - Director of e-Governance Academy in Estonia.

According to Estonian experts, cyber security must become a priority for every state, large or small. In order to ensure the necessary measures to counter cyber-attacks is every state, including Moldova, must develop an appropriate legal and policy framework.

In this regard, the participants in the workshops agreed and made final changes to Moldova’s Roadmap in cyber security. Also, the experts discussed the possibility of launching an international cooperation in cyber security between Estonia, USA and Moldova, during 2014-2015.

The workshops were organized with the financial support of USAID.
