Moldova's digital governance experience presented at international level

Digital transformation and modernization of public services becomes a major requirement and a goal of the world's governments. Moldova's experience in this regard attracts the interest of other countries, as it achieved remarkable results in the development and implementation of digital solutions in the public sector. The Deputy Director, Gheorghe Ursoi, spoke about the achievements of the e-Governance Agency of the Republic of Moldova (eGA) during the second webinar "GX Next: The Revolution of Digital Government Engagement" of the Digital Next Summit.
The discussions focused on issues related to the activity of government institutions in the field of digitalization of public services, ways to modernize public services and raising the efficiency of public-private partnerships for the benefit of citizens.
In his speech, Gheorghe Ursoi presented Moldova's experience in the field of e-transformation for more than a decade, which includes a wide range of services and platforms developed and launched to facilitate the activity of public institutions and interaction between the government, citizens and the business community. The participants to the event learned about the eGA's partnerships with the public and private sectors and about its experience in promoting electronic public services, as well as public information and digital literacy campaigns carried out in the Republic of Moldova.
The webinar “GX Next: The Revolution of Digital Government Engagement” of the Digital Next Summit was organized by the Department of Government Support of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, United Arab Emirates, in online format, bringing together experts and representatives of government structures from different countries. The summit offers unique opportunities for participants to share their experience in modernizing public services and strategic visions on the development of the sector and increasing the number of beneficiaries of electronic public services.
The event is part of a series of actions, carried out between June and December 2021, which aim to create a common platform for sharing experience in digitalization of governments, to explore and implement successful models, with active participation of famous personalities in this sector.
