The Mobile Signature can be used for free

Starting October 10, 2013, the Moldovan citizens will be able to sign documents online for free, using the "Mobile Signature" service. Up to now, only the connection to the service was free of charge, while the signatures were paid. The citizens can require the Mobile Signature to the mobile operators Orange and Moldcell.
The "Mobile Signature" works as an identity card in the virtual world. The service allows users to authenticate themselves in the cyber space, as an individual or as a legal entity. Through the mobile signature we have access to different electronic services, we can sign papers from far apart, reports, declarations to institutions or online requests.
Currently, the following e-Services can be accessed with the Mobile Signature: e-CNAM, e-CNAS, e- Licensing, and the electronic income statement. Soon, other electronic services will be integrated: e-Fiscal Invoice, e-Cadaster, e-Civil Status.
The "Mobile Signature" was launched on September14th 2012, within a public private partnership between the Government and the mobile operators.
Details on how to obtain the "Mobile Signature" can be found by accessing the websites of the mobile operators: moldcell.md and orange.md.
Additional information about public electronic services can be found on egov.md and on the portal servicii.gov.md.
