The Government e-Notification Service (MNotify) was included in the list of news of the e-Governance Agency (EGA) as another premiere for the Republic of Moldova.

At the launch event of the new product, organized as part of the Communication Campaign "10 years of e-Governance in the Republic of Moldova", Dumitru Postu and Mariana Cibotaru, Project Managers at EGA, mentioned that the Government Electronic Notification Service adds up to the suite of innovative tools created by the e-Governance Agency.

As stated by the authors of the project, through the platform mnotify.gov.md, government institutions can notify users of public services about major events in relation with authorities, can send messages through various notification channels, at the user's choice, such as e-mail, quick messages, short messages, etc.

A key issue is that the Government Electronic Notification Service (MNotify) is integrated with the Government Citizen's Portal, recently launched by EGA, and users can receive electronic notifications through the portal mcabinet.gov.md as well.

The Director of the e-Governance Agency, Iurie Turcanu, mentioned during the event: “The Government Electronic Notification Service is a strategic one. By participating in the modernization of public services, it helps us achieve a major goal - the implementation of proactive services, when the citizen is informed about certain services provided by the government, without requesting this service."

Iurie Turcanu expressed his gratitude to EGA partners, who play a key role in the modernization of public services, while noting that all achievements in the field of e-Governance involve a lot of effort and dedication and are focused on the benefit of citizens.

The Government Electronic Notification Service (MNotify) is free of charge and ensures the protection of the beneficiary's personal data and privacy. Both natural and legal persons can be beneficiaries.

The e-Governance Agency will present, in the next period, new projects and useful products that can facilitate people's lives and activity and contribute to protection against pandemic risks.
