MNotify government notification service launched for approval and public consultations

The government’s draft decision „On the MNotify Government Notification Service” was submitted for public consultation and approval.
MNotify is a technical application used to send notifications within the information systems held by the ministries, administrative authorities and organisational structures that fall within their competence, as well as by service providing public institutions.
Thus, a message automatically generated by the information systems of the institutions shall inform the user on certain changes that occurred in the structure of the services or in the service providing. The users will be timely notified on any changes occurred by e-mail, SMS, instant messaging or other communication channels, depending on their needs.
MNotify (the government notification service) will be implemented as part of the MCloud* joint governmental technological platform, with the aim to facilitate the transactional electronic services and to increase the overall quality of the public services.
In order to ensure the highest functionality and usefulness, the e-Government Centre with the support of the State Chancellery, ministries and other administrative authorities, will test the service at the pre-launching stage, with a view to identify the adjustments to be done.
*MCloud is a platform representing an innovative model of infrastructure that offers the public authorities several advantages, such as: maximal capitalization of IT resources at low prices, reducing expenses for purchasing hardware equipment and software licences in the public sector, reducing the risk of CPA losing data following system failures, improving the operational efficiency and increasing the speed the CPA’s IT directorates and departments digitize public services.
