Another group of services was integrated with the Government Electronic Payment Service MPay: services provided by the Centre of Excellence in Information Science and Information Technology (CEITI).

The group includes four services:

  • Tuition fee
  • Accommodation fee
  • Fee for the processing of application files
  • Fee for continuing education courses

Payment through MPay is simple, fast and secure and gives the payer the opportunity to choose the preferred payment method from the 4 proposed.

The group of services provided by CEITI can be paid by:

  • Accessing the module assigned to the Centre: mpay.gov.md/Services/Service/CETI1
  • Entering the required data in the form (type of service, student’s details, group and amount)
  • Choosing the preferred method of payment and making the payment

The Government e-Payment Service MPay is a government platform service that can be used by citizens, both individuals and legal entities, to pay for public services with any of the multiple available tools: bank card, Internet banking, cash. The portal has been operational since September 2013 and currently offers Moldovan citizens the opportunity to pay for about 600 public and private services provided by 1500 providers of various services.

From the launch of the MPay e-service/portal (September 2013) to 30 June 2020, 17.57 million payment transactions in a total amount of over 10 billion MDL have been processed through it. On average, 7,172 transactions are processed through MPay every day, while the average daily amount of transactions processed through MPay reaches 4.03 million MDL.
