Iurie Turcanu: "e-Governance is a social phenomenon, a good perceived by the society as something practical"

E-governance best practices in the Republic of Moldova and Estonia were included in a guide launched today during an event organized by the Laboratory of Initiatives for Development (LID Moldova) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
The Guide "e-Governance for the Republic of Moldova. Overall guidelines and best practices" is the product of a series of online events held during 2020 under the project "5 e-Gov webinars for Moldova".
"This guide is a diagnosis of e-governance and we thank the authors for their effort. We are certain that the Republic of Moldova has no other chance than that of rapid modernization. The key to success in digital governance is political will and a clear path in the country's modernization, and we have the capacity to manage this process so that it becomes a national value", Iurie Turcanu, Director of the e-Governance Agency stated at the Guide Launch Event.
The paper includes five key chapters: e-Health, e-Education, Local Public Administration, e-Participation and e-Democracy, as well as e-Business, and provides recommendations, examples and best practices in the field of e-governance. The guide was developed by LID Moldova with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Romania and Moldova and can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/3n2cDdC
