International exchange of experience is key for a successful digital transformation

The development of the cybersecurity system and the implementation of the best practices in the field of digitalization in the Republic of Moldova is a priority for the Electronic Governance Agency (EGA). In this context, from 27 to 28 October 2021, EGA experts took active part in the exchange of information and best practices in the field of digital transformation, through videoconferences with experts from France and Ukraine.

During the information session, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Paris, the expert of the French National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI), Anthony Munos, shared his country's experience in cybersecurity and ensuring a high digital resilience at government level. The ANSSI representative spoke about France's experience in terms of the legal framework, strategic vision, reengineering process and about the importance of the public-private partnership in the field of cybersecurity and infrastructure.

The second experience sharing meeting took place today with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova, Iurie Turcanu, EGA experts, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. Major digital projects and electronic public services implemented in the two states were presented at the meeting.

During both sessions, the experts agreed to continue the dialogue through mutual consultations, exchange of information materials, development of the regulatory framework underlying the institutional activity.
