Starting today, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova can access the unique platform of public services, provided by the authorities. The portal www.servicii.gov.md is an electronic catalog of services provided to citizens and business environment. The platform has two dimensions - information and digital interaction between the Government and the citizens. Visitors can access information about public services and print forms requested by the state institutions for non-stop services provision.

Vlad Filat, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova welcomed the launch of the portal www.servicii.gov.md, making a note that it is a first palpable product for beneficiaries.

"It is not mandatory that the entire list of over 500 services provided by the state is included on this portal, as a part of these services are unnecessary and are intended only to attract money and they will be liquidated, while another part – outsourced”, stated Vlad Filat, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.

“The Portal of public services will provide citizens with a faster, qualitative and state-friendly interaction. Citizens can find information about public services, print the forms requested by various institutions of central public authorities, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, without travelling and wasting time in front of ministries and government agencies”, stated Stela Mocan, executive director of the e-Government Center.

Currently, 199 services from those 500, offered by authorities to citizens, are available. 11 of these services are submitted in electronic format.

The portal has a multidimensional structure and allows identifying services according to various criteria. This refers to the field they are included in, the life scenario and the institution that is providing them.

The citizens can interact with the portal moderators through a feedback form. Also, the citizens can vote for certain services they deem useful.

The main purpose of the portal www.servicii.gov.md is to provide summary, accurate, accessible and complete information about public services provided in the Republic of Moldova.
