Foreign experts presented successful examples of inteligent IT investments at Chisinau

The e-Government Center has organized the second forum of the IT Quarterly Forum Series. The forum was dedicated to intelligent IT investments in government. Participants in the forum were the private sector, IT managers from the public sector, and external partners have participated in the forum. The purpose of the forum was to adopt the best practices of acquiring and managing IT from the private sector and from other countries.
Among the panelists were Andrew Stott, former deputy CIO in the UK government and the representatives global IT companies like HP, IBM, Cisco, SAP, Microsoft. Local IT companies, large and small, have also presented IT solutions already implemented in Moldova, including Moldcell, Daac System Integrator and RT Design.
The intelligent investments forum in government was organized by the e-Government Center in collaboration with the Association of ICT Companies of Moldova, the World Bank, and USAID under the ICT Summit umbrella.
The next quarterly forum will take place in September, where information and cyber security in the public sector will be discussed.
The IT in Government Quarterly Forum Series was launched on January 17, 2012 with the forum dedicated to interoperability and identity management and organized jointly with FEDICT from Belgium, responsible for e-government.
