Policies on e-transformation of public services, joint standards for open data and real-time connection to them are some of the topics discussed at the first meeting of the E-Government Center (EGC) with e-Transformation coordinators, appointed by the ministries and government agencies.

E-Transformation coordinators were informed about the decision of the Prime Minister Vlad Filat on publication of open government data. The decision aims at ensuring transparency of decision-making process and citizen participation in the governing, as well as access of citizens and businesses to public data of the government.

According to the document, the ministries, central administrative authorities, other authorities and public institutions will identify monthly in the format prescribed by the E-Government Center (e-government), three sets of data of interest to citizens and business, that will be published on www.date.gov.md portal; will ensure regular updating of public data of the government depending on the frequency of their collection.

The meeting was also attended by ICT managers in ministries and government agencies.
