Elizabeth Linder, Facebook representative: “Moldova gives an example of excellence in using new technologies and modern social platforms”
Elizabeth Linder, a Facebook representative, is for the first time in Chisinau, in the context of e-government transformation. During her meetings with Government and e-Government Center representatives, Ms Linder said:
„In today’s world people want and have the possibility to actively participate in the decision making process. Social platforms help people make their voice heard and makes Governments accountable. Moldova gives an example of excellencein using new technologies and modern social platforms, such as Facebook, making the local Government more transparent and responsive”, Elizabeth Linder noted.
Elizabeth Linder, Facebook's specialist in Politics and Governance strategies for countries in the Middle East and Africa, is visiting Moldova at the invitation of the Center for Electronic Governance.
Elizabeth Linder’s agenda includes meetings with representatives of the Government, of the civil society and of business associations. She will also have discussions with journalists, bloggers and youngsters in Republic of Moldova.
Elizabeth Linder will be in Chisinau from October 22nd to October 24th.
