Electronic services extend the range of opportunities for the diaspora

The latest services and products launched by the e-Governance Agency complete the list of the institution’s priorities defined to increase the accessibility of electronic public services, regardless of the area or the access to internet.
Vlad Manoil, Head of Services and Platforms Department and Tatiana Sincovschi, EGA Project manager, participated in the “Scrisori pentru acasa” (“Letters home”) show at the national radio station Moldova1, where they talked about the extent to which government services are becoming more accessible to citizens in the country and abroad due to the launch of the pilot project Unified Service Provision Centre (CUPS) or the MPower service,
Vlad Manoil also talked about the future plans, including the approval of necessary legal framework enabling the nationals of the Republic of Moldova, including those living abroad, to benefit from electronic public services, which would minimize the bureaucracy implied by mandatory physical presence. In addition, he referred to the much more diverse mechanisms by which the nationals living abroad can access personal information through the Citizen’s Government Portal, the Electronic Notification Service (MNotify), the Register of representative powers based on the electronic signature (MPower) and other services.
Tatiana Sincovschi, Project Manager, mentioned that the Unified Service Provision Centres are service counters that will provide the necessary support to people living in rural areas and the diaspora in identifying the most appropriate solutions for accessing electronic services, explaining what documents are necessary, what is the application procedure or how can the document be received.
