EGC ASSESSES THE PRIORITY ELECTRONIC SERVICE FOR 2012

Ministries and government agencies have submitted 70 project proposals to EGC on the digitization of public services in 2012.
The process of electronic service selection, organized in several stages, will end in November. Originally a working group comprising representatives of the EGC and the e-Transformation coordinators will consider the offers on the basis of criteria which include, inter alia, the relevance, effectiveness, sustainability and cost of implementation less than 200,000 USD.
Projects will be discussed with civil society and citizens, after which a shortlist will be developed with priority e-services for each sector.
The final decision on the financing of electronic services projects will be taken by the National Committee for e-Transformation, chaired by the Prime Minister, Vlad Filat.
