Digital innovations in such areas as artificial intelligence, cyber security and the digital ecosystem were among the topics addressed today in a video conference with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization, Iurie Turcanu, representatives of the e-Governance Agency (EGA) and Microsoft.

Iurie Turcanu spoke about the priorities of the government digitalization agenda, designed to improve the institutional activity during the pandemic: “We want to become a more transparent Government, and this implies a rethought and modern infrastructure, offering accessibility to public institutions, but most importantly, to meet the needs of citizens", the official mentioned.

The EGA’s Deputy Director, Vlad Manoil, spoke on topics of common interest, in order to ensure the progress regarding the accessibility and diversity of electronic public services: “We have a lot to learn from Microsoft specialists. We rely on a fruitful cooperation and support for the successful implementation of the new e-governance tools", the EGA’s Deputy Director added.

The participants in the event agreed to continue the dialogue in order to advance in the ongoing projects and to identify new solutions for the development of e-services.
