The public institution e-Governance Agency (EGA) signed on 16 March 2021 a Cooperation Agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI). The document provides for the establishment of sustainable cooperation between the two institutions in order to support and develop a competitive business environment and promote the opportunities offered by digital services for entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova.
Under this Agreement, EGA and CCI will share their experience and cooperate to organize consultations, workshops, thematic seminars, round tables and other activities for developing entrepreneurial activity at national and regional level, aimed at promoting bilateral interests with a greater emphasis on organizing online events.
The two partner institutions will focus their efforts on digitizing public services accessed by entrepreneurs, while acknowledging the need to use technical, scientific and intellectual resources to modernize business activities and solve the major challenges in this regard.
The priority areas of cooperation provided for in the Agreement are: online services provided by the CCI; electronic services accessible for the business community and information systems created specifically for this field; development of new areas of cooperation in order to support the business community; organization of information and training events for businesses representatives on the use of digital services and platforms, including the use of the Government Distance Learning Platform (E-Learning), etc.
It should be noted that the development and strengthening of bilateral and multilateral partnerships in various areas is a major objective of the EGA.
