The e-Governance Agency (EGA) has reached record digits in terms of the number of users, transactions, signatures or registrations through online public platforms, which are becoming increasingly popular.

In January-December 2020, over 20 million signatures were successfully applied through the Government Electronic Signature Service (MSign), which means an average of 1.86 million electronic signature transactions per month (significant increase compared to 2019, when the monthly average was 1 million signatures). Currently, around 82 information systems have been integrated with MSign, of which approximately 71 are owned by public institutions and 11 by economic operators.

The Government Electronic Payments Portal (MPay) has registered over 19.28 million transactions since its launch in September 2013, totalling over 11.12 billion MDL. Over 7,400 transactions are recorded daily on MPay, this being one of the most widely used platform of e-governance products with 76 service groups. Currently, 1,511 authorities/institutions providing public services are connected to the MPay Service, of which 1,425 are kindergartens, 31 schools, and 43 are public service providers and 14 payment providers. In 2020, over 86 public administrative services were integrated with MPay, provided by the Public Services Agency, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the National Social Insurance Agency, the State Tax Service, the National Agency for Food Safety, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the National Archives Agency, etc.

During 2020, over 48 million queries were made on the Government Data Exchange and Interoperability Platform (MConnect), which gives an average of over 140 thousand queries per day. In the context of the global pandemic, there was an impressive monthly increase. In January 2020, around 5 million queries were registered, and in November of the same year, more than 8 million queries were registered. Currently, 71 entities are connected on the MConnect Platform, out of which 45 are public authorities, around 200 notaries, 26 private sector companies, of which 16 in the financial field and 10 insurance companies. The process of connecting to MConnect is a continuous one, both for public and private entities.

During 2020, electronic public services were widely used by citizens, and the process of improving and supplementing these platforms with new features and modules was intense, generating consistent results for the agenda of e-transformation and modernization of public services.
