General News

A month after the launching of e-Visa, 68 visas were processed online by the applicants wishing to visit our country. As a result, the state budget gained 100,061 lei. Due to the e-Visa service, it is now easier to plan touristic and business trips in the Republic of Moldova.

The service provides applicants with an electronic visa, which is equal to the traditional visa. The applicants can fill in the electronic visa application while at home. Should the document be accepted, they can pay the fee by means of their bank card. After that, the data are processed and after being confirmed, the applicant receives the visa by e-mail within a few days.

The visa holder may enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova by submitting the printed visa at any of the border crossing points. The e-Visa is equal to the traditional visa and is not endorsed in the passport.
