General News

By launching the e-AGEPI service (online submission of applications for intellectual property objects), the State Agency for the Protection of Intellectual Property has made a big leap in conforming with the government policy on providing more accessible and closer to citizens’ services.

Now, the service payment process has been simplified to the maximum. Besides the possibility of paying with the credit card, in advance or in cash, the e-AGEPI was connected to one of the most modern payment systems - MPay (Governmental Service for Electronic Payments). MPay enables payment of services through multiple payment methods such as: bank cards, payment terminals, e-banking systems and cash payments. In the case of cash payments, citizens may appear before the connected bank counters or “Posta Moldovei” SE post offices. It should be mentioned that when using the online submission system, the applicant pays no additional fees.

The platform main purpose is to accelerate and streamline the process of submission and assessment of applications for the registration of trademarks, inventions, industrial designs, works, phonograms and other objects of intellectual property.

The E-Agency Information System includes:

  • submission of applications for the registration and assignment of priority (number of entry and data);
  • submission of applications for renewal;
  • submission of applications for legal status modification;
  • submission of necessary documents together with the referred applications or subsequently.

The e-AGEPI objectives are:

  • ensure a high degree of information security;
  • minimize the time required for lodging the application and the related documents;
  • ensure 24/24 submission of applications;
  • exclude partially the applicant’s need to go to the AGEPI;
  • provide effective tools within the PWC (Personal working cabinet personalized work environment for each user within the on-line submission electronic service).

The service can be accessed through the following methods: www.e-agepi.md and by www.servicii.gov.md
