SOCIAL TOOLS is the winning application at the the Open Data Hackathon, wich took place within the "Open Innovation Week 2012". This platform is based on open government data use.

SOCIAL TOOLS: http://socialtools.lungu.info/. The purpose of this application is to disseminate open government data to the general public by placing them on various social networks and blogs. Many public government data are available online, but they are not visible because they are insufficiently used in researches and studies. SocialTools comes to change the situation. This application can be easily incorporated into the online network. Via this application , the public is closely following new datasets, which are available for use and incorporation. To use them it is necessary to download the widget and the SocialTools application will populate it with new data in real time.

The SocialTools application is for bloggers, NGOs, journalists, researchers and government representatives. The platform allows real time visualization of data, which makes it easier to monitor government performance.
