A new information campaign for the popularization of electronic public services is launched today, August 2, 2021, and is targeting, in particular, representatives of the diaspora. The campaign entitled "e-Moldova – anywhere with you" is part of the Diaspora Days, organized every year under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

The actions planned as part of the campaign by the e-Governance Agency in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Bureau for Diaspora Relations, during August, will address the following issues: electronic services accessible for the diaspora, needs, challenges and opportunities for communication and interaction between citizens living abroad and public institutions in the country, expansion of the network of e-ambassadors and improvement of consular services, sharing best practices from abroad in the field of digital governance in consultation with representatives of the diaspora.

In this respect, eGA aims to organize webinars, round tables, competitions, workshops and other activities that will lay the foundations of a partnership with the institutions involved in the provision and promotion of accessible digital services for the diaspora, created by eGA and intended to build an open and efficient governance, centred on citizens and sensitive to the needs of public service users abroad.

According to the agenda, the eGA experts will inform the public about the operation and use of electronic platforms MSign, MCabinet, MPower, MPay, Public Services Portal, as well as the concept of the new e-governance product – Unified Centre for Public Service Delivery (CUPS).

The mentioned events are part of the agenda of Diaspora Days 2021, based on the real interests, concerns and expectations of Moldovans living abroad. The activities planned as part of the campaign aim at informing and consulting the diaspora on e-transformation processes, digitization of the relationship between authorities and Moldovan citizens living abroad, as well as the accessibility of electronic platforms and services from any location outside the Republic of Moldova.
