Today, 2 June 2021, the e-Governance Agency (EGA) launches the public information and digital literacy campaign "e-Governance for all and everyone".

The goal of the campaign is to increase the number of users of electronic services, build the skills of accessing online public platforms, developed by EGA, and promote the benefits of using the governmental electronic services. This is an inclusive programme, with a special focus on vulnerable groups: people with disabilities, rural residents, people who do not have devices with Internet access. The objectives will be achieved through a number of activities such as webinars, information sessions, online and offline presentations, to be held in June 2021.

The campaign aims at informing children, young people and other groups about all benefits and opportunities provided by e-governance. Another goal is to train rural librarians who, in turn, will improve their knowledge and skills in this area and will subsequently become e-ambassadors and messengers for all those who need support and assistance in the use of online services. We will also organise information sessions and webinars aimed at engaging young people in the development of elderly people’s digital skills. Following the campaign, the beneficiaries, who represent underprivileged groups, will have sound knowledge of and will actively use electronic public services.

EGA will also join the initiative of developing the e-Transformation Educational Platform designed to inform the society at large about the principles of operation, advantages of digital transformation and the main e-governance services that are currently functional or under development in Moldova and other countries.

Our campaign partners are LID Moldova, Transparency International Moldova, UNFPA Moldova, the Association of Librarians, Youth Centres in Moldova and media institutions.

We invite the press, including the local one, to join our events and disseminate the information to the public and to all those who are interested in participating in free training sessions on the use of electronic public services.
