Call to ICT Private Sector
Pro Bono ICT Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building
for Government IT professionals
Pursuing the objectives of the Governance e-Transformation Agenda, the e-Government Center launches a Call for Pro Bono ICT knowledge sharing and capacity building activities for the public sector to be implemented in the period February-December 2013.
The purpose of this Call is to engage in a partnership with the ICT private sector for developing the abilities and skills of government IT professionals to drive and manage Governance e-Transformation Projects.
We seek the support of the private sector for information and knowledge sharing on new ICT, trends, products as well as IT resource planning and cost estimation techniques to ensure high quality public service delivery and efficient governance.
How do we see it? The e-Government Center is willing to organize knowledge sharing, information and training sessions, seminars, master classes, on-the-job trainings, products presentations in partnership with the private sector on the following topics:
- Mobile Technologies in Government;
- Cloud Computing and Modern Technologies;
- IP TV in Government;
- Information Security: Strategies and Technologies for Cloud Environment, Information Security Management Technologies, and Security of information networks;
- IT Project Management: tools, best practices and lessons learned;
- Enterprise Communication and Collaboration Environment;
- Interoperability Platforms and Data Exchange Models;
- Incident Management Infrastructure (Monitoring Systems, Call Center Systems, etc.);
- Storage Infrastructure: Strategy and Efficient Operational Models;
- Business Intelligence Platforms in Governance.
Traditional learning approach teleconferences, e-learning and other innovative ways of communication and learning are welcome.
