The first e-Transformation educational platform in Moldova has been launched today, during an online event attended by national and international experts. The initiative was taken by the Laboratory of Initiatives for Development (LID Moldova) and aims at informing the society about the principles of operation, advantages of digital transformation and the main e-governance services available in Moldova and other countries.

The Deputy Director of the e-Governance Agency, Gheorghe Ursoi, present at the event, said: "e-Transformation, with everything it entails, is our priority and is of a great interest to us, as an institution responsible for e-Governance in Moldova. We are open to cooperation, we express our full support and we are ready to support digital transformation in all areas, informing and preparing the society to understand and to accept modernization and progress through technology”.

Also, in his speech, Gheorghe Ursoi talked about the EGA’s information campaign to be carried out in June, which aims at informing and enhancing the digital literacy of the population, while urging the public to participate in the e-Transformation process by accessing public services, to have confidence in the technological progress, to explore the e-Transformation educational platform launched today, as well as the e-Governance Agency's website, and to be open to new technology, as it already represents the present and the future.

The portal is structured in several sections, including: e-Governance, e-Transformation Solutions, Toolkit to which the e-Governance Agency was invited to contribute, by providing information materials, media resources on e-Transformation, among which: presentations, reports, infographics, development strategies, video or audio materials, interviews, guidebooks etc., which can be viewed by users of the new platform. EGA will also continue to contribute to the completion and updating of information on this page.

The e-Transformation educational platform is intended for the general public; it was developed in cooperation with several partners, including EGA, governmental and private institutions, and experts in the field. The mission of this project is to provide support and expertise to public institutions in the modernization process, as well as to all people interested in enhancing their digital skills and improving activities on the way to modernization and transformation.
