On July 6-7, the Swedish statistician, physicist and doctor Hans Rosling will come to Moldova at the invitation of the E-Government Center.

Hans Rosling is a statistician specialized in development issues.  With an extensive experience, he became known for his unique approach and presentation of figures. He actively promotes the "Open data" concept.

The figures mentioned by Rosling gain life and voice. They are readable, interesting and unusual. „Statistics have never looked so sexy”, said a fan of Hans Rosling.

Charismatic, with good knowledge of human psychology and an excellent speaker, Rosling presents the figures in a curious and exciting way.

His presentations have revolutionized the field of statistics and transformed it from a boring in an attractive one. Hans Rosling works at Karolinska Institute in Sweden. He is a professor in global health. By his theory, the statistician dispels the myth about third world countries.  According to him, the developing countries, in terms of health and prosperity, follow a trajectory similar to that of developed countries, while the speed of movement of the first is twice the speed of movement of the developed countries.

In Chisinau, Hans Rosling will make presentations to the general public, officials and experts in the field of statistics.
