From April 1, the range of services payable through the medium of the MPay governmental electronic payment instrument has been considerably extended. 

All services provided by the administrative authority „ National Auto Transport Agency” (A. A. “NATA”) are connected to the MPay. This event marks the beginning of a radical change as respects the A. A. “NATA” interaction with its beneficiaries. 

From this day, all those 1,500 transport service providers (goods and passengers) and approximately 1,000 individuals have the possibility to pay through the MPay service for the issuance of some permissive acts such as:

• Unitary authorizations
• ECMT multilateral permits
• INTERBUS roadmap book
• CFP roadmap book
• multiple trip permits and others.

MPay makes it possible to pay for services through multiple payment methods: credit cards, payment terminals, e-banking systems and cash payments. In the case of cash payments, the beneficiaries who have no access to the Internet may pay by means of the multiple payment terminals, connected banks or post offices.

So far, the possibilities to pay for the permissive documents were severely limited by the location and working hours of the A. A. “NATA” counters. With the accession to MPay service, the geographical area for making payments has been considerably extended. Moreover, the hourly restrictions are out of the question, the service being available 24/24, 7 days of the week.

Daily, about 110 applications for the issuance of permits necessary to carry out transport operations are submitted at the A. A. “NATA” counters. Annually, approximately 95,000 permissive documents are issued by A. A. “NATA”. 

The connection of services provided by A. A. “NATA” to MPay represents a preliminary stage of the electronic e-Authorization service launch. 

MPay has been launched on September 17, 2013 with a view to simplifying, making less bureaucratic and speeding up the process of paying the governmental services. 

At the present time, besides from the services provided by the A. A. “NATA”, to MPay are also connected

• Traffic Fines
• Procurement of livestock identification means

The authorities are aiming to connect all state-provided services to this system by the year 2020.
