General News

Today, 27 July, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the Action Plan on Modernization of Public Services Reform for 2017-2021. The document provides for modernization, diversification and efficiency improvement of public services provided to citizens.

The actions stipulated in the approved Plan focuses on developing information technologies in the public sector and increasing the number of electronic services, which will ensure a transparent governance, responsive to people’s needs.

At the same time, the authorities intend to remove the outdated public services, decrease the number of documents requested from citizens, and establish transparent and fair tariffs for the services provided against payment.

The Action Plan provides for the establishment of a unique call centre for providing public services, implementation of a single format for e-signed contents, regardless of their type, and modernization of several services provided to citizens, among which is the property registration service, simplification of financial and statistical reporting, as well as improvement of the public procurement process.

The Action Plan ensures the implementation of objectives set out in the Strategy for Public Administration Reform, earlier approved by the Executive, and of those set in the Government Activity Program for 2016-2018.
