58 080 declarations of assets and personal interests of civil servants were submitted online through the e-Integrity system

Today, April 3, the head of the National Integrity Authority of Moldova, together with the e-Government Center’s Executive Director, Mr. Eugeniu Ursu and the General Manager of the Special Telecommunications Center, Mr. Sergei Popovici, presented the data on the number of declarations of assets and personal interests of civil servants submitted online through the e-Integrity system.
Due to the e-Integrity information system, 58,080 declarations of assets and personal interests of civil servants were submited, of which 4,261 statements were repetitive. The number of subjects of the declaration of assets and personal interests registered in the system was 57,569.
Between January 1 and March 31 2017, 46,257 declarations of assets and personal interests were received on paper, of which 44,995 were annual declarations. Compared with the previous year, in 2018 the number of declarations is practically double increased.
NIA Chair Ms Rodica Antoci noted that for the Authority, this result is an impressive success, considering that it is the first year of implementation of the electronic system and the Authority's capacities are quite low, the institution being on undergoing reorganization. At the same time, Ms. Antoci referred to the large volume work done in parallel when over 1,800 reporting subjects were trained.
The electronic e-Integrity system was officially launched on December 28, 2017 and is being implemented since January 1, 2018.
