The e-Government Center from Moldova together with local and international partners have launched the Open Innovation Competition „E-Applications for Moldova".

The competition consists of three stages. First of all, those interested in participating in the competition will complete the application form, and until May 10 will develop and present online the concept of innovative applications based on open data. They will also receive assistance for the establishment of the project team.
Later, in the second stage of the competition, the authors of selected applications, together with their teams, will be invited to attend the training program "TechCamp", planned for May 18, followed by two days of intensive application development days (May 19 and 20) under the "Hackathon" program.
The members of support teams and other people interested in receiving a technical training on the development of open data applications are encouraged to participate in "TechCamp" and "Hackathon".
The winning applications will be reviewed by the Jury and awarded on May 20 during an event organized to celebrate performance in innovation and application of open data, this being the final stage of the competition. The competition is organized by "CMB" Training Center and the Association of IT Developers of Moldova, with the financial support of three institutions: the e-Government Center of Moldova, the World Bank and Moldcell.
The open innovation competition "E-Applications for Moldova" is intended to create a community of practitioners interested in open data and develop open data innovative applications to provide new, innovative electronic services bringing social and commercial benefits for the citizens and the economy of Moldova.
