The e-Governance Agency has a new management

Tatiana Iovv is the new Director of the Public Institution "e-Governance Agency" (EGA). She was introduced to the EGA team by the Government’s Deputy Secretary General Adrian Ermurachi. Tatiana Iovv's candidacy was proposed by the State Chancellery, the founder of EGA, in consultation with the World Bank Group, the key strategic partner of e-governance in the Republic of Moldova.
At the online meeting organised to introduce the new management, attended by the all the staff of the institution, held both online and offline, Tatiana Iovv said: "Although the digitization of processes began some time ago, it was the 2020 pandemic that triggered "the golden age of digitization”. The EGA's mission is to make public services as accessible as possible for citizens, but also for businesses, offering the highest quality solutions in the shortest time, in the process of achieving the strategic objective of continuous improvement of the governance."
Tatiana Iovv holds a PhD in economics and has previously worked in several international projects such as the Moldova Competitiveness Project (MCP II) and the EU Assistance Project "PoliSEE SEE TCP Cluster 2007-2013". Throughout her professional career, Ms. Iovv held the position of consultant to the Deputy Prime Minister on structural reforms in the non-banking sector, and managed private companies.
For almost half a year, the institution was led by Gheorghe Ursoi, EGA’s Deputy Director, after Iurie Țurcanu resigned at the end of last year. Tatiana Iovv is the 4th director of the EGA since its establishment (2010).
