General News

According to the Government Decision No. 461 as of June 16, 2014, starting from September 1, 2014, the Central Public Authorities will issue, on a compulsory basis, invoices and electronic tax bills exclusively by the instrumentality of the e-Invoice automated system. The autonomous public institutions which, according to the law, are obliged to keep accounts, will also be asked to operate through this system.

The e-Invoice service has been launched in Moldova on February 11, 2014 and represents a software solution intended for all economic agents from the Republic of Moldova enabling them to electronically issue and send invoices and tax bills.

The electronic invoice has the same legal value and is as safe as the one on paper. Moreover, the system provides safety of data accuracy and reduces the risk of invoices counterfeiting. The e-Invoice increases the time of conveying such documents from the supplier to the buyer, reduces corruption and counterfeiting or loss of the issued invoices.
