The Republic of Moldova shares with its colleagues from Kyrgyzstan the best practices on implementation of the eTransformation Agenda

From 23 to 27 November the eGovernment Center participated in the first edition of the eGovernment Innovation Week 2015, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
At the event, the eGovernment Center represented by Mr. Iurie Turcan, EGC Executive Director, Mr. Vlad Manoil, Coordinator of eServices and Mrs. Livia Turcanu, Platform and Product Consultant shared with the colleagues from Kyrgyzstan Moldova’s experience in implementing the eTransformation Agenda of the Government, which is related to the European Agenda.
“In open dialogues with colleagues from the CIS countries we realized that we face the same challenges of eGovernment, most likely because we have a common history. Moldova’s experience is welcome for Kyrgyzstan, as our country has gone through the same route. Today Moldova moves steadily toward an electronic future and we wish to Kyrgyzstan the same.” Iurie Turcan said.
Another important issue discussed was the revolution and sustainability of open data, Livia Turcanu has presented open data innovations successfully implemented in the Republic of Moldova, which also include publishing data on the government platform date.gov.md by 50 central public authorities (CPAs).
The eGovernment Innovation Week 2015 was attended by senior officials of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sarie, Prime Minister, Farid Niyazov, Presidential Adviser, and representatives of the World Bank, the UNDP.
As Moldovan experts, they shared the best practices of eGovernment with countries such as Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Albania, Belarus, as the discussed issues were digital government innovations, international trends in eTransformation and management of implementation eGovernment programme in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
In May 2015 the Government of Kyrgyzstan has adopted a resolution on the Strategic Program for Technological Modernization of Government (eTransformation).
