MPay – transactions of more than 80 million MDL one year after its launch

The Governmental Service for Electronic Payments MPay marks one year since its launch with transactions of more than 80 million MDL.

During the reporting period, the maximum amount collected per day was approximately 1.5 million MDL. 

Of the total cash receipts, 68.12% relates to the payment of fines (MIA), being followed by tax services 14.31%.

 

MPay allows citizen to pay services through any legal payment instrument available in Moldova:    

• credit cards;

• payment terminals;

• e-banking systems;

• cash payments (when paying in cash, citizens may appear before counters of connected banks or Posta Moldovei offices).

Since the launch so far, over 370,000 transactions processed through MPay were registered. Such progress denotes a clear interest and an upward trend in terms of cashless payments. 

Moreover, the range of services connected to MPay has been extended as from June 18. Today, this payment instrument allows payment of the following government services:  

1.e-Cadastre

2.e-Apostille

3.e- Criminal Record

4.e-Civil Status

5.Register

6.Police Fines

7.Procurement of livestock identification means

8.Tax services

9.Transport Authorizations

10.e-AGEPI

11.MIB

12.e- licensing

13.Electronic Statement
