Local Documents Registry
The Local Documents Registry is a free public e-service, which offers many opportunities and benefits for three categories of users of the web portal: Local Government's Office, State Chancellery and the citizens. By accessing the website of the Municipality, anyone can view normative acts adopted by the local government, learning their provisions and the date they entry into force.
The purpose of the portal is to ensure transparency in the activities of the public local administration and reduce bureaucracy as well as ensure free access for business sector representatives, civil society and the general public to the municipalities and local councils documents as well as to the local government overall act.
The Local Documents Registry (RAL) was developed under the USAID | BIZTAR projects in accordance with project objectives and the strategic partnership between USAID and the Government, namely the implementation of public services for the Moldovan society by using advanced information technology instruments.
The actelocale.md portal offers:
- A registry of all local authorities regardless of their level;
- Modular solution that adjusts to the requirements of any Local Public Administration (LPA);
- Web pages for each participant of the Registry;
- Structured information in accordance with the activities of all APL;
- Instant access to information;
- Collaboration and practice exchange between different geographic LPA areas;
- Central data base for all documents issued by APL in Moldova.

- In Mereni village, from Comuna Mereni din raionul Anenii Noi rayon, is the first village in the R. of Moldova with an electronic registry of documents.
- Following the completion of the pilot project, citizens from Bălţi, Orhei, Sîngerei, Telenești, village Hîrtopul Mare and Andruşul de Jos can follow online decisions taken at a local level through RAL.
