Web sites of government institutions accesses reached 30% in 2014, which is 8% more than in 2013, according to the “population perception, assimilation and support of Governance e-Transformation in the Republic of Moldova in 2014” survey carried out by CBS –AXA at the request of the e-Governance Centre. 

The most accessed web page during the last 12 months is that of the Ministry of Education, just like the year before. About 40% of the respondents claimed to have accessed this page. Such popularity may be explained by the reforms launched in the field of education. The next most accessed page is that of the State Hydrometeorology Service – approx. 40%. This page registered the highest access rate (approximately 10 pp). 

The page of the Ministry of Health and that of the Agency of Tourism registered about 20% of the positive answers. Their popularity increased by 4 pp The rate of users having accessed the page of the Ministry of Culture and that of the Ministry of Defense increased by 5 pp compared to 2013, reaching 13% and 11% respectively. 

At least one page of the central public administration authorities was accessed by more than a half of leaders of all levels and highly qualified specialists, individual with higher education, 48% of the inhabitants of our capital city, 46% of pupils/students and 41% of administrative clerks. 

The survey also shows that the rate of those who access the site of the Government is stable. About 15% of the respondents claimed to have accessed themselves the Government site (www.gov.md [6] ) at least once during the last 12 months.
