The Citizen’s Government Portal (MCabinet) is one of the latest services launched by the e-Governance Agency (EGA). The mcabinet.gov.md portal was launched in the autumn of 2020 and soon became an important tool for informing the citizens and facilitating the interaction with the state institutions, while also serving as a safe response to the challenges imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The opinion expressed by respondents participating in an online survey on this service in the first month after its launch is a proof of the strong interest and usefulness of this product. The beneficiaries were asked to answer some questions that reflect the first impressions of the new product launched by EGA, as part of the communication campaign "10 years of e-Governance in the Republic of Moldova", conducted between 10 October and 20 December 2020. According to the survey, 78% of respondents say they are satisfied with this service, considering it useful in their daily work, and 75% appreciate the opportunity to have access to complete and up-to-date information. Among those surveyed, 19% say they are daily users of the portal, and 21% expressed a positive attitude towards its launch.

In addition, half of respondents consider the portal format user friendly, as it provides the most important information about itself, and 37% support the convenience of having access to all data concentrated in one place, one click away.

The electronic public services developed by the e-Governance Agency are designed to respond to the needs of citizens in their interaction with state institutions, to reduce costs, time and bureaucracy, by simplifying administrative procedures. Opinion surveys on the degree of beneficiary satisfaction with the use of these services are conducted regularly and the results of these surveys help improve the services provided by public entities.

The Citizen's Government Portal can be accessed at mcabinet.gov.md, and EGA specialists are constantly working to improve its functionality by adding new sections, filling in information in existing sections and creating the right environment for accessing any information of interest to users, anytime and anywhere.
