October 10, 2013. Public officials, civil society representatives and IT professionals, brought in discussion, during a roundtable, the matter of personal data security and ensuring their protection in Republic of Moldova. The event is part of the "Cyber Security Month in Government" held in October, by the Center for Electronic Governance (EGC).

The participants at the meeting discussed issues related to sanctioning methods for the misuse of personal data and the application of personal data protection legislation. The specialists of the National Center for Personal Data Protection presented a set of recommendations aimed at ensuring data protection.
